Operation Restore respects privacy of Internet Users and does not collect personally identifying information without the Internet User's specific permission.

This policy applies to the web sites owned or operated by Operation Restore, a non-profit Oregon corporation ("Operation Restore").

You may contact us regarding this Privacy Policy by e-mail at legal@operationrestore.cjb.net, or by mail at our headquarters address:

Some terms used in this Policy are:

"Advertiser" - which means a person or organization that has entered into a Operation Restore Advertiser Service Agreement with Operation Restore and operates a Web site that pays for a sale, lead or click by an Internet User referred by a Publisher.

"Publisher" - which means a person or organization that has entered into a Operation Restore Publisher Service Agreement and may be compensated for a sale, lead or click by an Internet User that the Publisher referred to an Advertiser's Web site.

"Cookies" - which are small pieces of information that are stored by an Internet User's browser on the Internet User's hard drive.

Collection of Data

Operation Restore does not use Cookies on our web sites, however some of the linked web sites may do so.

Operation Restore does not collect Internet User identity or contact information from Internet Users' visits to Operation Restore Web Sites. For each visitor to a Operation Restore Web site, the visitor's computer reaches us via a particular IP, (Internet Protocol), address. Operation Restore's servers automatically collect this IP address.

Operation Restore does receive and record partial e-mail addresses of Internet Users, only in circumstances where the Internet User has voluntarily provided its identity and contact information through the Advertiser's Web site or Publisher's Web site. This partial e-mail address does not enable Operation Restore to personally identify an Internet User.

Disabled and Non-functioning Cookies

Operation Restore does not employ any technology or means of preventing an Internet User from disabling the acceptance of a Cookie. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but an Internet User's browser may be set by the Internet User to disable this function. Some Web browsers or similar Internet navigating technology may not support (or consistently support) Cookie technology. If Cookies are disabled or the Internet User is utilizing technology that does not adequately support Cookie technology, Operation Restore shall not be able to record the Internet User's click on an Advertiser's link that was placed on a Publisher's Web site or within a subscription e-mail or the Internet User's subsequent activity at the Advertiser's Web site.

Use and Disclosure of Data

Operation Restore does not sell or rent personally identifying information. Operation Restore does not disclose personally identifying information to anyone that Operation Restore is not authorized to do so. Operation Restore does not use anonymous user data to create and report the browsing, purchasing and/or lead form completion activities of anonymous users.

Operation Restore reserves the right to release information on Internet Users if compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities. Disclosure shall be limited to only to those that Operation Restore is compelled to disclose by Court Order. At present, all information processing occurs in the United States.

Security Measures

Operation Restore employs industry standard security measures to ensure the security of all data. Access to Operation Restore customer data is accessible via password protection through the Advertiser and Publisher Accounts created by each Advertiser and Publisher, and to designated Operation Restore employees who require system level access in order to perform their jobs. Access to Internet User data that identifies the Internet User's name and/or e-mail addresses is limited to designated Operation Restore employees who require such access in order to perform their jobs and to an Advertiser or Publisher that provided such information. Each Advertiser and Publisher is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its own password used for accessing its accounts on the Operation Restore Network.

Publisher and Advertiser Privacy

Operation Restore does not share with anyone other than an Advertiser, personally identifiable information about a Publisher, and vice versa. Such exchange is limited to a party's e-mail address and basic Account detail (including but not limited to Web site name (if applicable), date Web site or subscription e-mail first entered into operation, and visitor demographics). Such information shall be accessible to enable each party (an Advertiser and a Publisher) to assess a potential affiliation with the other party and, when an affiliation has been established, to facilitate the on-going relationship. The parties may contact each other before entering into an affiliation (e.g. for the purpose of soliciting affiliation, and other similar commercial solicitations) and after an affiliation for the purpose of sending and receiving targeted commercial e-mail solicitations regarding special promotions and affiliation opportunities. Once an affiliation is established, the parties are privy to recorded information regarding the affiliation results, including anonymous Internet User transaction data for Internet Users referred by the Publisher. If a Publisher has been given permission by the Internet User to record personally identifiable Internet User transaction data (e.g. through rewards membership programs), the anonymous Internet User transaction data may be coded by a Publisher to enable the Publisher to generate personally identifiable Internet User transaction data. Under the foregoing circumstances, the information remains anonymous to Operation Restore. By completing the registration process, Publishers and Advertisers agree to be solicited by Advertisers and Publishers (respectively) for the foregoing purposes. All other personally identifiable information of Advertisers and Publishers that is provided by them during the sign-up process is retained and used by Operation Restore in order to serve the Publisher and the Publisher's Advertisers through processes such as performance reporting and commission payments to Publishers. Advertisers and Publishers have agreed with Operation Restore not to engage in spamming, unsolicited e-mail and indiscriminate advertising. Each Advertiser and Publisher may view or modify the information that it provided during sign-up.

Advertiser and Publisher Web Sites and Publisher Subscription E-mails

Although Operation Restore requires Advertisers and Publishers to adhere to Good Business Practices as a condition of Membership in the Operation Restore Network, Operation Restore is not responsible for the information practices of Advertisers or Publishers. Advertisers and Publishers may collect information from or about Internet Users, including personal information. The collection, use, and disclosure of information by Advertisers and Publishers are subject to their respective privacy policies, which may differ from Operation Restore's Privacy Policy.

Spam

Operation Restore does not intentionally send unsolicited e-mail messages that could legitimately be construed as spam. Operation Restore's Advertisers and Publishers are held to the same standards.

COPPA

Since you may not become a member of Operation Restore's Network if you are under the age of 18, Operation Restore complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. Advertisers and Publishers are also obligated to comply with COPPA.

If you inform Operation Restore that Operation Restore has collected or received information from a child under 18, Operation Restore will delete such information immediately from its databases. No Operation Restore Web Site is specifically directed to children under 18. Operation Restore shall not knowingly distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information erroneously collected from children under 18.

Deactivating or deleting from databases by Publishers and Advertisers

Please contact legal@operationrestore.cjb.net if you no longer wish to maintain an account with Operation Restore, or are unable to access your account. If Operation Restore has such information, Operation Restore shall not retain your name and/or e-mail address any longer than is necessary to perform the services that you requested from Operation Restore.

Policy Changes

Operation Restore may find it necessary or be legally obligated to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this site. Except as otherwise required by law, modifications to this Privacy Policy will not affect the privacy of data collected by Operation Restore prior to the effective date of the policy change.
